RIP #WalterMondale, the former U.S. senator who served as Jimmy Carter’s Vice President and sought the presidency in 1984. I saw him speak in 1984 (though, honestly, I was there for the opening acts - B.B. King, Stephen Stills, and Peter, Paul & Mary).
