What a year, huh? Most days felt like weeks and most weeks felt like months yet, those time illusions aside, the clock’s ticks were steady and persistent, pushing us forward at the unstoppable clip it always has and will. In some respects, 2021 reminded me of the opening lines from Denise Levertov’s “Seeing for a Moment”:
